As you stroll along this stretch of fine sand as far as the eye can see, you will immediately be seduced by its wild and unspoiled character. Bordered by a majestic pine forest, this surf spot offers an enchanting setting, conducive to relaxation and contemplation.
Whether you are a nature lover, a surfing enthusiast or simply looking for a peaceful place to recharge your batteries, Cap de l’Homy is a true jewel of the Landes coast not to be missed.
It is essential. It starts with going to the water sports spot and will only last a few minutes. Your body must understand that it is going to be put to work and this begins with a warm-up adapted to the activity that will follow. Not only beneficial on a physical level, it also allows you to focus your attention and therefore feel sensations of calm and well-being. The marine elements act as natural stimulants and allow us to fully connect with our inner being.
For safety reasons, it is essential to properly assess the surfing conditions before getting into the water. Certain elements such as weather forecasts, wave size, currents and tides must be understood because they impact your session! Taking your bearings is necessary!
Everyone is capable of standing up on a surfboard! But having an objective view and tailored advice in real time will allow you to optimize your progress, improve your technique and be efficient while surfing! During a lesson, Sam will give you an objective or a work plan that he will readjust according to your progress. Don’t forget that falling is part of surfing and that falling well can also be learned!
I would like to introduce you to my vision of the ocean, in harmony with nature, and offer you a pleasant moment during my surfing lessons at Cap de l'Homy, from which you will leave with a smile.
The minimum recommended age to start surfing is 6 years old, but it is possible to start earlier by taking adapted private lessons. I am flexible in organizing my lessons, taking into account tide times and wave sizes.
